INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated provides several opportunities for Sorors to apply for and receive financial support with three international scholarships:
- Bertha Black Rhoda Fellowship/Scholarship: $2000: Alumnae members, studying toward an advanced degree.
- Cleo S. Higgins High Education Assistance Scholarship: $750: Alumnae members, who are pursuing a doctorate program.
- Dr. Katie K. White Mwanamugimu Educational Scholarship: $725: Undergraduate & Alumnae members, who exemplify the spirit and/or thrust of Mwanamugimu – studying historical and contemporary development of African nations.
*Deadline is Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:59 PM CST. The online application process will be on Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated’s international website. Go to the International website for the application. Login under members only. Click the scholarship link to apply.

CENTENNIAL LIFE MEMBER LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
The Centennial Life Member Legacy Scholarship is a one-time scholarship funded by the Life Members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. The scholarships will be announced during the Life Member Luncheon at the July Centennial Boule Celebration. This one-time scholarship of a minimum of $2500 will be awarded to 2 undergraduate members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated in each of the five regions provided that the $25,000 fundraising goal is met. Winners do not have to attend the Centennial Boule. The number and value of scholarships awarded will be determined by the number of donations collected by the fundraising drive.
Donations made to Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated are not tax-deductible. The one-time donation will be accepted until Monday, May 2, 2022, at 12:00 AM CST. Award amounts will be revealed during the Centennial Boule. Sorors should go to the international website to apply online. Login and click on the Members Only tab. Go to the Centennial Life Member Legacy Scholarship and apply. The deadline to submit applications is April 30, 2022, at 11:59 CST.

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AND AWARDS
The 2020-2022 International Achievements and Awards Committee is providing you with this guidebook needed for the submission of applications for International Awards and Scholarships. The guidebook provides criteria that all applicants are expected to adhere to. Completed applications and supporting documents must be received electronically via the International Corporate Headquarters Awards link. The submission window begins on March 1, 2022, and closes on April 30, 2022, at 11:59 EST. Your Regional Achievements and Awards Chairperson will submit regional first-place winners to the International Achievements and Awards committee no later than 7 days after the Regional Conference has completed.
