The Urban League of Northwest Indiana’s impact:
To the Folks at the Urban League
I just want to say thank you for thinking of the seniors. The Food box you delivered to our homes were greatly appreciated. (My first) Thank you for knowing sometimes, it’s just too hard to move for many of us. Love and God’s blessings.
Ms. Rosie
Good Afternoon,
Mrs. Vanessa Allen-McCloud,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and Ms. Black for a powerful, insightful and engaging workshop. Your transparency made the atmosphere trusting and open for us to share our personal feelings. Thank you both for taking time out of your busy schedules to provide support and encouragement to the GCSC Administrative Professionals to strive to be RESPECTFUL Team Players on the frontline of the district.
Again, Thank you both for caring☻
Ms. Lenore

“The Cultural Diversity Training provided by the Urban League has been incorporated into the Orientation Program for our new employees using the handouts you shared with us. Engaging the staff to help them see we are alike in so many ways and encouraging them to be more interactive with each other on a daily basis. It has been nice to see people communicate more, speaking and conversing. People who were not speaking are now speaking and taking the time to talk to everyone in their work area. Preconceived ideas and notions about individuals of different cultures are being dispelled. Opening the door to dialogue with the staff about cultural diversity and inclusion is helping our staff to be a more cohesive team. The staff has responded quite well to this Cultural Diversity and Inclusion Training and we hope to have the Urban League come back.”
